So, I can hear my mom saying, "they put the Christmas stuff out earlier every year". She's said that every year for as long as I can remember.
Well, I've said it now.
I went to Wal-mart on Friday. No lie, there was Christmas music playing, decorations all over and all the merchandise you could want to get ready for Christmas out for you to buy. Is it just me, or is this really early? In the newspaper today, Target had a huge toy magazine. My kids got the "gimmies" right away.
If I bought Christmas candy now, would it be stale by the time I would put it out, like after Thanksgiving?
Seriously, is this earlier than last year?

I totally agree!! I went to Target on Halloween Day to buy some "harvest" napkins for Lily's preschool, thinking that Thanksgiving was more than 3 weeks away, surely they would have plenty, right? NOPE. All out of Thanksgiving/Harvest stuff, ALL the Christmas stuff was out. So I guess you have to buy your Thanksgiving stuff in September now! I said the same thing you did and felt like such a MOM.
